Pile installation is complete for the two in-river foundations. Construction continues on the main tower of the new bridge and the in-river foundation near the New Westminster shoreline.
In Surrey, construction is underway on all main bridge and Highway 17 off-ramp foundation piers, as well as the Old Yale Road overpass.
Installation of girders is also underway which requires nighttime closures and detours of local roads.
During the week of September 25:
- Bridge Road will be closed overnight between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. on September 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29.
- 112 Avenue will be closed between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. on September 25, 26 and 27.

On Friday, September 29, Fraser Crossing Partners will be conducting underground utility work on Dufferin Street.
To complete this work, Dufferin Street will be closed from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for crews to excavate underneath the existing roadway. Drivers wishing to access Dufferin Street will need to use 1st Street or Coburg Street.

Construction of the new bridge deck is underway in Surrey with crews lifting steel girders across Highway 17 just east of the existing Pattullo Bridge. On September 8 and 9, Fraser Crossing Partners will require two overnight closures of the Pattullo Bridge in the northbound direction due to the proximity of the girder installation equipment to the existing bridge.

In mid-August, Fraser Crossing Partners will begin construction of a retaining wall south of Columbia Street. This retaining wall is required to support the eventual widening of Columbia Street, and will take approximately two to three months to complete.

Starting Thursday, August 3, Fraser Crossing Partners will be conducting underground drainage work along the east side of Dufferin Street. This work will take approximately two and a half weeks to complete.
To complete this work, traffic lanes will be shifted to create space for crews to excavate underneath the existing roadway. Temporary no parking restrictions will be in place along the east side of Dufferin Street. Access to the sidewalk will be maintained.
All traffic pattern changes and parking restrictions will be well-signed, and traffic control personnel will be on-site when required.
