Current construction information, notifications of upcoming work, including navigational warnings (NAVWARNS) for marine users and businesses located along the Fraser River near the Project area, will be posted to this page throughout the construction of the Pattullo Bridge Replacement Project.

In-river bridge foundation work is underway. Pile driving is complete for the foundation that will support the main tower of the new bridge, and construction is underway on the main tower. Further pile installation work will take place at the secondary in-water pier this summer.

In New Westminster, site preparation work continues. Fenced work areas have been set up for storage of materials, parking for construction vehicles and crew, and providing access to other work sites in the area. These fenced worked areas will be restored when construction is complete. Construction of the on-land bridge foundations in New Westminster is underway. Drilled-shaft methodology is being used instead of intermittent pile driving, to minimize noise and vibration for nearby residents.

In Surrey, construction is underway on several bridge foundations. Upcoming activities include continued construction of bridge foundations and approach structures, and site preparation, utility relocations and road work along 112 Avenue.
